The firms need your current address to prepare a quote and, later, to open a file. It is passed to United Legal Services Ltd with the details above.

The price is based on what you tell us. If the case attracts higher rate stamp duty or land transaction tax, takes advantage of particular schemes, needs a mortgage from a lender that charges further fees, has additional legal requirements or proves more complex than a standard case, your conveyancer will tell you in writing and agree any additional work and fees with you (see quote term 7).

Domovita has no authority to negotiate or change the terms of any quote or of any firm's services, and cannot enter into a contract on the panel operator's behalf. Each firm confirms its own terms with you when you instruct it. A quote is not a binding offer. It is valid for 14 days and the firm may need more information before it can act.
